About Me

My professional journey with cats spans over 15 years, during which I’ve developed a deep understanding of their health, behaviour, and emotional needs.

I’ve worked in hands-on and leadership roles with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, RSPCA, and Wood Green, as well as managing a veterinary boarding cattery — experiences that shape the calm, thoughtful care I offer today.Supporting cats, especially those needing extra help, has always been close to my heart. I’ve fostered and rehabilitated many cats and kittens with medical or behavioural needs, helping them feel safe, build confidence, and learn to trust again.After the closure of the RSPCA Putney Veterinary Hospital in 2020, I turned my focus to cat sitting, gradually building my work and developing lasting relationships with clients — some of whom have been with me from the very beginning. In 2025, I officially established Mew Time Cat Sitting, allowing me to dedicate my work to providing thoughtful, personalised care for cats in the comfort of their own homes.

My commitment to understanding cats also led me to undertake specialist training in feline behaviour, qualifying as a Feline Behaviour Counsellor under the mentorship of Caroline Clark, a Registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist. This training inspired me to create Mew Chapter, where I offer well-being sessions and behaviour support to help cats and their guardians strengthen their bond and live in harmony with each other.My love for cats is deeply personal. I grew up with rescue cats, and in 2012 I rescued Keela, my black-and-white companion, after she was abandoned. Now 17, she still brings me so much joy — and remains a true expert in relaxation and creamy treats!

Comfort Visits

Personalised visits that keep your cat comfortable in familiar surroundings, with care and attention tailored to their individual needs and routine.

Comfort Standard Visits
(20-30 minutes)

A focused visit covering your cat’s essential daily needs, such as feeding, fresh water, litter care and a wellbeing check. Light brushing or medication mixed in food can also be included where appropriate.

Comfort Extended Visits
(40-50 minutes)

Everything included in a Standard Visit, with extra time for companionship and additional care support. The longer visit allows your cat's routine to be carried out calmly, without rushing.

Additional Information

Prices cover up to two cats in the same household. Please get in touch for a quote if you have more than two cats.

Comfort visits are typically arranged in the morning and evening, with flexibility where needed.Some cats need more time due to medical needs, behavioural support or additional care tasks. In these cases, I may recommend an Extended Visit (40–50 minutes) or additional visits where appropriate. Any extra care requirements will always be discussed and agreed in advance, ensuring your cat receives the time and attention they need.

Overnight Care (7.30pm - 7.30am)

A reassuring alternative to you being there, allowing your cat to remain in familiar surroundings with consistent overnight attention and care.

Overnight Comfort

12-hour stay · 7:30 pm–7:30 am

Overnight care in your cat’s own home, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray care, medication administration where required, and companionship.

Overnight Comfort Plus

A new chapter in my work with cats

Throughout my career in cat welfare, rescue, cattery management and cat sitting, I’ve learnt so much from the many cats I’ve worked with — becoming more attuned to their individual needs, body language and behaviour, and the ways they communicate with us.Becoming a Certified Feline Behaviour Counsellor, through training under the mentorship of a clinical animal behaviourist, was a natural next step in my journey. Mew Chapter is where I bring this specialist knowledge to my work, supporting cats’ well-being and helping guardians navigate behaviour concerns.
